It was a day consumed with a destination. After a poor resupply at White Pass, I had little to make it to snoqualmie Pass. There were countless ups and downs starting on top of blowout mountain and it proved to be pretty exhausting. It was hot and as they say at Snoqualmie Pass: “It’s not as hot as it feel.” But it wore me out. I came into the Pass and had to figure out how I would do this next resupply. I bought as much food as would fit in my pack, used the WiFi and sipped a beer at the brewery, and finally hiked out of the tiny ‘town’ late at night. I camped at the trailhead, prepared to log some good miles.
