Day 33 – Lack of energy

I’m sure my tired state today was not due to the beer, tequila or night out in Mammoth Lakes. Just all day I had no energy. Even with the long snow crawls and postholing, I casually strolled through the day. I was tired, and the many miles of snow have driven me crazy. After the 3.5 miles to rejoin the trail, a day filled with breaks and resting began. At this point I should have just taken a nap. I made it over Island Pass, and the scenery was remarkable, I just had little desire to do anything but stare at the beauty. After getting dropped off by Salsa I did not see another person. I am now ready for a nice long nap.
